The department of school education has sought explanation from Sri Sankara Senior Secondary School for the circular it had sent parents urging them to protest against the Right to Education Act. The government has also sent a letter to the CBSE recommending action against the school.
With Samacheer Kalvi textbooks set to come out only towards the end of May, the school education department has made arrangements for the textbooks to be made available online.
