Nearly 200 lakes falling under Kosasthalaiyar river sub-basin in Tiruvallur district near Chennai will soon be rejuvenated. The Water Resources Department has initiated the tendering process under the Irrigated Agriculture Modernisation and Waterbodies Restoration and Management project.
