Troubles with a new software introduced by Chennai customs has led to about 10,000- 15,000 containers lying uncleared for the last one week. Sources said the crisis followed the implementation of a new customs bill clearing system (1.5 version) that integrates the customs data and traffic of containers of customs houses in the country.
